The original Ocean Village plays host to some stylish and atmospheric bars including: Connexions Bar, the contemporary-style Blue Bar, Bayside Bar and Nightclub and The Marquee cabaret bar.

You can also have a refreshing cocktail at The Splash swim-up-bar and a nice pint in the Ocean Village pub, The Oval. If you didn’t think you were afloat before you will be after visiting all of these drinking holes!

If you are celebrating a special occasion whilst on an Ocean Village cruise you can purchase lots of little extras to make your special day go with a bang. Champagne, chocolates, flowers, cakes, balloons and party poppers can all be purchased before you set sail.

For that extra special Ocean Village touch why not get a luxury continental breakfast delivered to your cabin that includes champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries? That lot should keep them happy!

The original Ocean Village plays host to a fantastic entertainment venue called The Marquee. The largest of the ship’s entertainment hot spots has live bands, tribute acts plus cabarets and shows.

Tribute acts include Ronan Keating, Bee Gees, Cher, Kylie Minogue, Mick Hucknall, Neil Diamond, Madonna, Lionel Richie and the Blues Brothers. It that’s not enough for you there is always the old faithful – The Abba Singalong!

On Ocean Village 2 you will find loads of things to keep you entertained throughout your cruise, including: James Martin’s Bistro; Waterfront restaurant; Plantation restaurant; Mediterranean style deck restaurant, La Luna Restaurant, 4 entertainment venues; 8 bars; 4 shops ; Karma Spa, Seam and sauna zone; Karma Gym and Fitness, Hair and beauty salon; 2 swimming pools and 2 Jacuzzis.

Ocean Village 2 also has: a casino; Internet café; 3-deck atrium, Children’s and teenagers’ zones; night nursery; medical centre and 9 passenger lifts. If you can’t find anything to keep you amused amongst that lot then you really don’t like cruising!

On top of that lot Ocean Village also has: Hair and beauty salon; 3-deck atrium, Internet café, Children’s paddling pool ; Night nursery; Children’s and teenagers’ zones; nine passenger lifts; a Medical centre and an incredible 7,000 sq. m. of open deck space!

SEGA Amuses Ocean Village

Games giant SEGA have teamed up with Ocean Village and have introduced an amusement arcade on board Ocean Village 2. This exciting and innovative idea will help keep kids of all ages amused for hours.

The arcade features 19 fabulous SEGA games plus there are 6 more located in the designated Teens area. The family atmosphere that is associated with Ocean Village 2 seemed like too good an opportunity for Sonic the Hedgehog and his SEGA colleagues to miss.

Onboard Ocean Village

Onboard Ocean Village ships there are almost as many activities to keep you going as onshore. There are endless opportunities to take time out to relax or keep a little active and get your body pumping. For a spot of relaxation you will find a spa, sauna, massage room, hot tubs, swimming pools and sun decks for a spot of peaceful sunbathing.

Alternatively for something a little more active there is the fitness centre, table tennis, football, volleyball courts and golf driving nets. If it’s pampering you’re after a trip to the hair and beauty salon wouldn’t go a miss.

Kids at Ocean Village

Ocean Village is a family friendly cruise line offering plenty for the kids. Throughout the day there are endless activities to keep the children of all ages busy. For the younger ones they will find entertainment in the ball pool, soft play area, paddling pool and games consoles.

The slightly older ones benefit from PlayStations in an area of their own that is entirely dedicated to teenagers. This area enables them to meet new friends of their age and enjoy a holiday doing what they want to do. All children benefit from 24/7 dining meaning they can also eat when they feel hungry. Onshore activities are also provided for the younger generation from pizza making, water park visits and even a visit to the Nou Camp Stadium in Barcelona.

The Karma Spa is popular for after a few of the classes where you can be treated like a celebrity with many treatments including air-brush make-up and tooth-whitening before paying a trip to the hot-stones massage.
