Ocean Village Caribbean Itineraries

Ocean Village offer transatlantic cruises as well as cruises to the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. Both Ocean Village and Ocean Village Two will spend Christmas 2008 and New Year 2009 cruising in the Caribbean.

Ocean Village will spend her time in the Central Caribbean visiting destinations which include Antigua, Barbados, Grenada, St Lucia and Dominica. Ocean Village Two will sail the Southern Caribbean exploring destinations which include St Vincent, Aruba, Tobago, Venezuela and Bonaire. Both ships will spend the winter months from November to April sailing these Caribbean itineraries.

Onshore with Ocean Village

Onshore with Ocean Village there are endless activities available to keep you occupied, whether it’s a fun packed, adrenaline rush activity you’re after or a quiet and peaceful shore excursion, there is something for you.

The body pumping activities available include white water rafting, abseiling, kayaking, swimming with dolphins, wind surfing and quad biking. For something a little more laid back you may prefer to opt for a spot of wine tasting, Italian cooking classes, horse riding, golf, sightseeing or those all important shopping trips.

You’ll find that classes are offered for lifestyle, fitness and yoga; giving you the best in how to keep in shape and relax the mind. New Ocean Village Campaign

Ocean Village is set to launch its new multi-platform advertising campaign today (15th September 2008) that is costing £1 million. The campaign is to support its 2009 programme and will be featured across television, radio and print media. The main TV focus areas are Granada, Central, Yorkshire and West Country.

The TV advert will be a 30 second campaign featuring the voice of Tamzin Outhwaite and the distinctive Ocean Village logo. The advertising campaign is a 5 week campaign set to target the 35-54 year olds and emphasise the Ocean Village strap line: ‘The cruise for people who don’t do cruises’, showing that Ocean Village offer a laid-back, relaxed and casual cruising style.

The radio advert will be a 40 second campaign again featuring the voice of Tamzin Outhwaite. The advert will feature on a wide range of stations throughout the featured regions. 

The print media part of the campaign will include a variety of inserts and adverts for newspapers as well as a direct mail feature that will target more than 250,000 new and existing customers.

Due to this campaign sales are expected to increase significantly as they have done for their two previous campaigns in January and June 2008.

Ocean Village Anytime Dining

In keeping with their philosophy of choice, Ocean Village Anytime Dining options are entirely flexible and laid-back. You can dine in style at top celebrity chef James Martin’s Bistro, enjoy a steak at the La Luna restaurant or plump for a buffet style dinner in the Waterfront or Plantation restaurants.

Ocean Village don’t even mind if you want your breakfast at lunchtime! Meals can be taken when you like and with whom you choose. How’s that for choice?

The Ocean Village Olives and Ouzo itinerary allows you to visit these, and many more places throughout the Eastern Mediterranean. Take a tranquil stroll through olive groves and taste some wonderful local wines. Not too much Ouzo though or you may just miss the boat!
