Ocean Village Cruises
If you like the idea of cruising, but are put off by the formal atmosphere on some cruise-liners, then why not try an Ocean Village Cruise.

One of eleven subsidiary companies to the Carnival Corporation, Ocean Village was launched in 2003 with the intention of capturing an audience of customers who were looking for a cruise with fun family events and a casual dress code. An ocean village cruise certainly gives people more flexibility in terms of what they do, eat and wear. This is emphasised by the company slogan "the Cruise for people who don't do cruises".

The company owns 2 cruise liners, Ocean Village and Ocean Village Two. Ocean Village sails from Barbados in the winter to the central Caribbean and islands on the edge of South America and to Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean in the summer. Ocean Village sails from Palma, Majorca to the Western Mediterranean in the summer and from Bridgetown, Barbados to the Caribbean in the winter season.

An ocean village cruise has something for everyone, both on board and ashore. So whether you are an adrenaline junkie or just like to sit by the pool in the sun, a good time is assured. The two floating resorts seem to have on board more to do than any top land-based resort. Ocean Village Two even boasts a bistro owned by celebrity TV chef, James Martin!

Whether you would like to go island-hopping in the Caribbean, Greece or Turkey or would like to visit Barcelona, Monte Carlo or Rome, with the freedom to do what you want, when you want, try an ocean village cruise. Basic tips and return flights are already included in the price so you need not worry about a thing. Just remember, don’t bring your bow tie!
